AMILA has designed several Kettlebell series so you can find the type that serves you best. The AMILA Kettlebell Competition series follows the rules and features to be accepted in competitions. All the different weights have the same size.
The Competition Series is the go-to series for Kettlebell competitions. These competitions are not about how many kilos the athlete can lift, but how many reps or total kilos (reps x kilos). The manufacture of such a product requires highly specialized knowledge that very few factories possess. The AMILA Kettlebell Competition Series due to their high quality were used in the 2017 Pan-European Kettlebell Championships.
The competition Kettlebell is made of cast iron. Its interior is empty. The void volume is different for each weight. Depending on the weight of the kettlebell, different material is used to fill the gap. In lightweight Kettlebells the void is filled with a mixture similar to expanded high density polyurethane so that it is solid and resistant to impact. In medium weights it is filled with iron while in heavy kettlebells the void is filled with pencil. So the size of the Kettlebell whether it is 8 kg or 32 remains the same.
